My aim with this project is to produce a body of work promoting the importance and awareness of the value of youth centres and a social record of the lives of the young people that they support.  The government have significantly cut funding to youth centres in the UK over the past decade and as we see them closing, crime is  rising.  I would like to highlight their importance by focussing on the personal experiences of the young people who benefit from them.
